Restylane

Botox ®

(Isolated, purified protein which temporarily relaxes the muscle)

'Non-surgical face lift'

Facial muscle relaxants are the ideal solution for people who would like to turn back the clock and reduce the appearance of wrinkles and facial lines.

Common areas to be treated are:

  • Frown Lines
  • Droopy eye-lids
  • Forehead Lines
  • Crows Feet
  • Marionette Lines
  • Armpits (excessive sweating)

Botox® relaxes the muscle that causes lines to more pronounced. Muscles work in pairs like a 'tug of war'. By relaxing the correct ones you can smooth/lift the face.

Surrounding muscles are still able to function as usual, just with less wrinkles. After treatment you can return to normal daily activities as there will be no visible change - changes will develop over 2-14 days.

Top-ups vary per person and may need up to 3-4 treatments in the first year. Treatment duration often increases with each repeat course but usually lasts initially 3-4 months.

Any concerns or questions about your treatment will be addressed before the treatment is started.

Fillers

As skin ages it loses elasticity and creases appear. Fillers reduce signs of ageing by smoothing creases and deeper wrinkles making you look younger and fresh-faced.

Common areas to be treated/popular areas are:

  • Nasolabial folds/nasal furrows
  • Marionette Lines
  • Lip Enhancement
  • Cheek Fillers

Our fillers are a non permanent form of the naturally occurring Hyaluronic acid. Young skin is rich in Hyaluronic Acid, a substance which promotes all important softness and fullness but becomes less efficient as we age.

Restylane gives nature a helping hand as it restores skin tone and youthful volume without loss of facial expression. Its affect usually lasts between 9-12 months.

Restylane targets all areas of the face including sun damaged skin. It can also be used on hands or the decolatage area.

SkinPen

What is SkinPen?

SkinPen is used for microneedling treatments carried out by Aileen Sloan in the dental surgery. Treatment with SkinPen can reduce the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, acne scars, pores and improve skin texture of the face, neck or hands.

How Does it Work?

The microneedling process reaches skin layers below the surface. The procedure creates many microscopic channels in the skin’s outer layers. This is sometimes called “Collagen Induction Therapy”. The process stimulates the body’s own production of collagen and elastin during the healing response. No implants or chemicals are used.

Why Choose SkinPen?

Skin pen is extremely safe and sanitary as, unique to this device, seperate cartridge heads are used for each treatment.

The design of the pen makes it easy to reach intricate areas of the face such as the side of the nose with equal precision. There is no dragging of the skin, which can occur with a roller.

Who Can Have Treatment?

SkinPen treatments are safe and effective for every skin type. Results can be seen after one treatment but we recommend a block of four treatments for optimum results.
