Kayla McCabe is Assistant Practice Manager and one of our extended duty dental nurses. Working chair side with our principal dentist David Macpherson she has over 10 years’ experience.
She gained her NEBDN qualification in 2013 at Glasgow Dental Education Centre. Kayla first came to the practice back in 2009 as a work experience pupil. This confirmed that dental nursing was the right career choice and she started with us in December 2010. With many years’ experience she ensures all our patients are given the highest standard of care. Over the years she has gained qualifications in Childsmile, Treatment plan co-ordinator and gained her Diploma in Digital Management in 2019.
Kayla has a personal interest in our facial aesthetics clinic and coordinates the ordering and appointments for our Facial Aesthetics & skin care patients. She has started her journey into education with ZO Skin health by Dr Zein Obagi. She is the administrator for all our marketing accounts and responsible for all content posted, replying to practice emails and enquiries through social media.
It’s important to me that I find a healthy work-life balance and take plenty time for self care. On active weekends you will find me out cycling or climbing a Munro with my wee dog, friends and family. I like to keep healthy and try my best to fit in exercise - I believe this is the best way to clear the mind after a busy day or week at work!
